Privacy Policy

This policy explains how personal data is processed in accordance with the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revFADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Data we process

Account data: email address and an encrypted password hash (for authentication).

Payment data: purchases are processed via Stripe. Card details are handled solely by Stripe; we do not receive or store full card data, only a transaction/session reference.

Uploaded images: images submitted for upscaling are processed temporarily and automatically deleted no later than 1 day after upload.

Technical data: server logs, IP address and timestamps to ensure operation and security.

3. Purposes

Provision of the upscaling service, management of the user account and credits, payment processing, security, and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Processors and third parties

Supabase (authentication and database, servers in the EU).

Stripe, Inc. (payment processing, USA).

Cloudflare R2 (temporary image storage).

Modal (GPU image processing, USA).

Vercel, Inc. (hosting, USA).

Transfers to providers in the USA are based on standard contractual clauses or recognized safeguards.

5. Retention

Uploaded images: max. 1 day (automatic deletion). Account data: until the account is deleted. Transaction data: per statutory retention periods.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, delete and obtain your data, and to restrict or object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact support@tcgscale.com.

7. Cookies

Only technically necessary cookies (e.g. for the login session) are used. No advertising tracking takes place.

8. Data security

Data is transmitted encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Appropriate technical and organizational measures are taken to protect the data.
